Rotary club Ovwian celebrates World Polio Day

The RC Ovwian on Tuesday 24th October undertook immunisation and sensitization to Ekete Inland Primary Healthcare, Warri Delta State.
The president, Rtn Efe Loyola Ogeh who spoke at the event encouraged the mothers to ensure they immunise their children to avoid certain deases from affecting them.
Others who spoke during the event encouraging the mothers to take every opportunity to cater for their kids during visines includes Rtn Jevi Eduzuka (treasurer), Rtn Jonathan Akatakpo (secretary) and Rtn Fred Awata (polio chairman).
They encourage the women to join Rotary club as they who are always supporting the less privilege are not super humans but ordinary people doing extra ordinary things by contributing to the society collectively.
The excited matron of the health center was happy and also encourage the women to always bring their kids during visines as it’s free. She used the opportunity to plead with the Rotarians for some of their needs. The Rotarians promised them more chairs.
Other Rotarians present includes , Rtn Joy Akpota, Rtn Evelyn Nwabudike and Rtn Gina Osifo. Refreshment was presented to the women.
