Lady arrested for faking pregnancy to collect millions from boyfriend
A young African lady, whose name is undisclosed, successfully deceived her boyfriend by faking a pregnancy for 9 months.
A viral video of the incident captured the dramatic moment when she was confronted by the midwives, who had discovered her ploy. In the video, the lady can be seen on all fours while the makeshift baby bump, constructed with rags and clothes, is spread out on the hospital bed.
She was exposed after walking into a hospital, pretending to be in labour, only for medical staff to discover she had used clothes to simulate a baby bump.
The lady’s boyfriend, unsuspecting of the trick, accompanied her to the hospital, believing that he was about to witness the birth of their child.
Reports suggest that the lady had managed to extract a substantial sum of money from her boyfriend, totaling in the millions, under the guise that the funds were necessary for medical bills and other essentials related to the pregnancy.
