My husband’s mistress was my mum – I caught them red-handed and she moved into my house to play happy families with him
A mum-of-two has exposed her mum and husband for having an affair – and it was her NAN who told her.
Katherine felt something was off between the disloyal pair but was prompted to act on it after her nan said she had witnessed some “odd behaviour” between them.
“Their affair lasted roughly four months before I finally caught them red-handed,” she said.
One night in February 2022, when their twin daughters were still just babies, Katherine video called her husband at 9:30pm to find out when he would be home from his shift as a food delivery driver.
He was sitting in his car during the call and she noticed he was in a different area to the one he claimed he worked in.
“All of a sudden, I heard a woman’s voice,” Katherine sensationally shared. “He turned over to his passenger seat as if listening to that voice speaking.”
Katherine, from Idaho, US, called her little sister who was living with their mum at the time to see if she was home – and she wasn’t.
Her sister then shockingly revealed that Katherine’s husband had popped round earlier that night to pick up their mum but they had begged her not to say anything.
After discovering the truth, she left the home straight away with her children.
Bizarrely, her mother took that as an invitation to move into the family home and start playing house with the father of her grandchildren.
“They continued to play house until I served my husband with divorce papers,” Katherine revealed. “They also stated that I would be filing for 100% custody of our children.
“My husband and my mother were conspiring about how they could get married.
“Therefore making my mother, my childrens’ step-mum and my children, my step-sisters.”
Katherine concluded that her husband ultimately “got bored” of her mum and kicked her out of the house.
“She went crawling back to my dad, who welcomed her with open arms,” she said.
“To this day, my parents act like the affair never happened.
“In their words, the affair never would have happened if I wasn’t such a ‘horrible daughter’ and ‘horrible wife’.”
Katherine shared her story on TikTok in a series of videos that have now totted up a whopping 10 MILLION collective views.
