Ifiekoro Community reinstates suspended youth chairman, PRO
The crisis rocking the Ifiekoro Youth Body (IYB), has eased with the lifting of the suspension on the Chairman and Public Relations Officer, Messrs Special Bawo Agbeyi and Endurance Odonghano Bomele respectively.
In a correspondence dated Match 11, 2024, entitled, “Resolution of Ifiekoro Community against enemies of Baba and Warri Kingdom,” which was written to the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, the leaders of Ifiekoro Community in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State, said: they were misled in taking the action against Agbeyi and Bomele during the community’s meeting on March 7, 2024.

According to the letter, the Ifiekoro leaders noted that:”After thorough investigation, the community discovered that some persons had under the veil of the Palace deceived the elders of the community to take wrong decisions in order to undo their perceived enemies in the community.”
The letter to the Olu of Warri Kingdom which was signed by Mr. Peter Ede (Trust Chairman) and Mr. Myke Ogi (General Secretary), the community stayed that its decision in restating Agbeyi and Bomele was in line “with the fundamental moral principles, social justice, equity, fair play and good conscience, we wish to inform your Majesty that the Ifiekoro Community from all walks of life met again at Prince Ejeki Ikengbuwa Hall, Ifiekoro on 11th of March 2024 where it took the resolutions to reinstate Mr. Special Bawo Agbeyi as the Chairman and Mr. Endurance O. Bomele as the Youth PRO.
It added that it never issued any order of banishment of anybody in the community.
Finally, the community reiterated its support for the leadership of the Ogiame Atuwatse, Olu of Warri.
