Tragedy As Nigerian Woman Sets Herself Ablaze After Divorce

A Heartbreaking Incident has occurred in Jigawa State, Nigeria, where a 40-Year-Old woman, Fatsuma Bagobiri, set herself ablaze and died after a recent divorce.

The Police Spokesman, Lawan Adam, confirmed the tagic event, stating that Fatsuma, a native of Garin Malam Village, poured petrol on her body and ignited it, resulting in severe burns that led to her Death.

The Incident occurred in the Guri Local Government Area, where Fatsuma’s body was found burnt beyond recognition.

The Police investigation revealed that she had been experiencing depression since her divorce a few months prior. Fatsuma leaves behind a child, adding to the tragedy of the situation

The Police statement expressed condolences to the family and community, highlighting the devastating consequences of depression and the importance of seeking support during difficult times.
