Taxi Driver Reveals Why He Wears His Wife’s Dress To Drive Passengers
A taxi driver, Afeez Adedigba who gained attention after being seen wearing his wife’s dress while driving a popular “Micra” taxi in Ibadan, Oyo State, has shared the reason behind his unusual choice of attire.
In a viral video, Adedigba was spotted driving while wearing his wife’s clothing.
He explained that his clothes were soaked by the rain, and the quickest solution was to put on his wife’s dress, which was readily available.
In an interview, Adedigba recounted the situation, saying, “The first time I took my wife’s dress, it was raining heavily, and all my clothes were drenched.

I had no choice but to take hers since I still wanted to continue working that day. Now, I wear her dress when it rains and switch to mine when it stops.
That’s why I keep it in my car.”
When asked about the reactions from passengers who saw him wearing the dress, Adedigba remained unfazed, stating that his primary focus was on earning money and meeting his responsibilities.
“I’ve been driving this Micra for a long time, and I just ask for God’s favor in my work. I started driving after I couldn’t raise enough money to start selling tires, which I learned to do when I was younger,” he explained.
Adedigba also shared that he has one wife and four children, who motivate him to work hard to provide for their needs.
