I wish to recall the historical facts on IBB when he unseated Buhari and Idiagbon, and when the same IBB annulled MKO victory, his actions were all in the pursuits of personal vendetta So where are we today in Nigeria in uprooting leaders for personal interests.
Now for ADC, it's Tinubu must go!
The rule is that hands go hands come as it is in relay athletes, so should it be in politics.
As expected, a political party ought to develop economic and political programmes campaign on same and show pasts capacity and competence of the flag bearers. You don't have to resort to blackmail and hate campaigning.
Who is clean, and those who pretend are the worst and the ones setting nigeria aback.
Some in the ADC coalition this time have shown hatred and calling Tinubu names. A coalition just to oust a sitting president, and no plans to put food on the table for Nigerians?
It's likely possible that some of them were out to make money and made huge money in 2023 presidential elections. They may be out again in 2027.
Atiku, for instance, knew it was not the turn of the northern zones in 2023 as Buhari was about going out of office after 8 years as president of nigetian from the northern extraction of the nation's geopolitical zoning.
Ameachi knew as a minister he had no structures, claimed he had no money, yet he ran against Tinubu, who had structures
Obi knew Atiku was not in support of the southern presidency and was out just to reduce Tinubu chances, so Atiku can on popular votes emerge as president.
Where are the monies Atiku, Obi got from donors, sale of forms, etc. Where are the people they have helped to position of power across the nation.
Obi couldn't run Anambra productively compared to what Soludo is doing. A trader habits will not leave him.
Obi got into LP as superstar of the workers and those not willing to relocate from hard spots to rural areas or outskirts for sustainable jobs or craftships to sustain themselves or family. They remain in main hubs idling and expecting manna to fall, and when manna do not fall, they bemoan the president.
Obi also scooped those on theatrics of Soware structures and was without prejudice the European Union candidate. How?
Remember, he wrote protest letters to the European countries and Amazon company when he lost the election.
The Chinese concept is that the selection of the apex ruler is not to be decided by the poor ,masses, and down trodden.
It should be noted that the poor are who will think that their poverty was caused by the rich, so they prefer someone or candidates who pretend to be poor to win elections in Nigeria.
The poor had always hated the rich, accusing them of stolen wealth and being the reason they were poor.
Any candidate who seeks popularity from the downtrodden can never win an election in Nigeria. Their voices outcry do not ever translate into real votes.
Obi,a man who could not transform Anambra, yet placed huge savings into fidelity just in pretence of prudence when there were so many projects to be completed in Anambra state.
Obi came third after Atiku, and he still went to court to claim victory on accounts of public feelings when lots of the street supporters had no voter cards.
Obi is never the Avatar to the solutions of Nigeria problems, nor Atiku.
My thoughts ard that, It's the constant evolution of public spirited leaders on succession, building on past achievements of predecessors that can lead nigeria out of this dark age. Opposition should be constructive and objective. Southern nigeria should exhaust her 8 years and go back to the north, and by the next turn to Southern again, the southeast would take the presidency..
Ganging up to uprooting every current government on self interst can never develop nigeria as expected.
Obi, in 2023, hyped on production, yet he didn't encourage the igbo investors to come home to build pharmaceutical and other manufacturing companies. He did not press FGN to open up the long abandoned Orashi port project.
Soludo has gone agricultural, and the palm estates are aimed at anambra state, becoming leaders of palm oil producers in africa in the near future. That is a visionary goal.
Obi is looking for a 4-year tenure as president for an ADC ticket. Atiku will take his money and still not win. Delta dtate is nursing some wounds!
Will the East polotical class agree to a tenure of 4 years certain or south south to run again when GEJ just left, in bid to remove Tinubu or Aregbesola to run 4 years and beat Tinubu
These are fraudulent antics and contraption amongst themselves.
A fuji house of confusion indeed.
My opinion towards ADC is that they should be preparing for 2031, where the East may take turn their turn for the presidency or to the northern zones after Tinubu Southern turn.
The huge costs of presidential campaigns and elections can be minimised by the national assembly.
The national assembly can give filip to the rotation policy as part of the electoral law changes ,so the presidency should rotate between the north and south in a legal framework.
In that way, at the 2031 elections, all the political parties should concentrate their campaign in the northern zones alone. Then Inec should conduct the presidential election amongst the candidates from the zone, having it turn to produce the next president.
Whoever emerges becomes the president of Nigeria for four (4 years ) subject to secondly tenure elections. The constitution should be amended to take in the rotation of presidency between the north and the south to deepen democracy.
The electoral commission should task itself to constantly propose to the executive reforms that would free the citizens and political parties from huge financial burdens to contests or fund elections. The national assembly should continue to review the electoral laws to make our election less cumbersome.
We wish niegerians freed from experiencing political, acrimonious, and unhealthy rivalries by politicians to focusing on your manifestos, debates, and accountability in nigerian politics.
ADC, please change your strategy as a new opposition party, and plan to give back to the Nigerian society some measure of your plunders of the past and spare us your plans just to uprooting Apc or Tinubu from Aso Rock.
Focusing rather on what ADC has to do for Nigerians is more important than the monafiki propaganda, and casting blames on Apc.
I come in peace and in the interest of a recast of the political philosophy by the major parties in Nigeria. Enough of deceiving of Nigerians only to win elections and abandoning your promises to the electorate and dividends of democracy.
