‎Nigerians React As Pastor Adeboye Pushes Tinubu To Reward Coaches Over Super Falcons Stars.

‎Following the Super Falcons’ remarkable comeback victory at the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco, President Bola Tinubu rewarded each player with $100,000 and a three-bedroom house.

‎In addition, members of the coaching and technical crew will receive $50,000 each, along with a three-bedroom apartment at the Renewed Hope Housing Estate.

‎The announcement was made during a celebratory reception at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, where Tinubu also conferred national honours on both players and officials.

‎Reacting during a Sunday sermon at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) on August 3, Pastor Enoch Adeboye commended President Tinubu for recognising and rewarding the team’s achievement.

‎However, the respected cleric emphasized that coaches should not receive less than the players, pointing out that the team’s success hinged heavily on the technical crew’s strategy and leadership.

‎Pastor Adeboye, who revealed he was once a sportsman, insisted that no matter how talented the players are, it is the coaches’ wisdom that guides them to victory.

‎He said, “To win, you need a coach. A coach brings knowledge and strategy. Without that, even the best players may fail.”
