Palm Wine Tapper Arrested After Setting Girlfriend’s Family Home Ablaze, Killing Three.


‎Bibiani, Western North Region, Ghana – A shocking incident in Subrinkwanta, Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality, has left three people dead after a 23-year-old palm wine tapper allegedly set his girlfriend’s family home on fire. Watch The Incident Video.
‎The suspect, Prince Numatekpor Kwaku, popularly known as On God, was arrested by local police following the devastating arson attack.

‎The Victims ;

‎The tragic blaze claimed the lives of three individuals:

‎Benedicta Kudjo Felicia, 19, a student at Queen Senior High School and the suspect’s girlfriend.

‎Maame Mary Oppong, 61, Felicia’s mother.

‎Dora Adoma Kudjo, 22, a relative.

‎According to Madam Paulina, a relative of the victims, she received a distress call while at work in Obuasi, notifying her that Kwaku had visited the family home searching for Felicia. The family had previously warned him to stay away due to their disapproval of the relationship, citing Felicia’s status as a student.

‎Reports suggest that the suspect, who had declared his love for Felicia, threatened to burn down the house if the family refused his marriage proposal. Tragically, the threat was allegedly carried out, resulting in the deaths of the three occupants.

‎Authorities have apprehended Prince Numatekpor Kwaku, and investigations are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

‎Police spokespersons have assured the public that the matter is being treated with the utmost seriousness, emphasizing the commitment to ensuring justice for the victims.
