The Lagos Irri Federal Union has elected Mr Reuben Ughohowho Uwezie as president alongside with others to pilot the affairs of the branch for the next 3 years.
The election held on the 12th April, 2026, in Ajegunle, Apapa-Lagos was free and fair without any rancour.
Other members elected alongside with him include: Mr Ataiku Solomon as vice president, Mr Gibson Okoh as General secretary, Mr Godwin Ubroke as assistant general secretary, Mr Robert Ojoh as treasurer, Mr Peter Edibe as financial secretary, Mr Theophilus Igruke as assistant financial secretary, while Mr Emmanuel Idolor was elected as speaker and Mr Etugbo O. Agbahowe as assistant speaker respectively.
The newly elected president, Mr Reuben Ughohowho Uwezie, while taking oath of office, he noted that his administration will carry everyone along in ensuring that nobody is neglected as everyone will have a sense of belonging.
He thanked all members of the branch for their peaceful conduct during the election.
