IGC endorses Ejele as Delta South Senatorial Candidate for 2027, inaugurates Chapter,Ward leaders in Warri North.

IGC on Saturday endorsed a former member of the Delta State House of Assembly,Hon.(Evang ) Michael Diden A.k.a, Ejele as its candidate for the Delta South Senatorial seat to represent the Itsekiri Nation in the red chamber as it inaugurated Chapter and Ward Leaders in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State.

IGC National Coordinator, Prince Collins Oritsetimeyin Edema was represented by Comrade Benson Eburajolor at the inauguration held in Koko,headquarters of Warri North Local Government Area

Itsekiri Grassroot Coalition,IGC on Saturday endorsed a former member of the Delta State House of Assembly,Hon.(Evang ) Michael Diden A.k.a, Ejele as its candidate for the Delta South Senatorial seat to represent the Itsekiri Nation in the red chamber as it inaugurated Chapter and Ward Leaders in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State.

IGC National Coordinator, Prince Collins Oritsetimeyin Edema was represented by Comrade Benson Eburajolor at the inauguration held in Koko,headquarters of Warri North Local Government Area.

He said,"Today, we are proud to unveil and endorse Hon. Michael Diden(Ejele),an APC aspirant as our preferred candidate for the Delta South Senatorial District."

According to Prince Edema,"Since 1999,the Itsekiri people have been denied adequate representation in the Red Chamber despite being among the highest producers of oil and gas in Delta and Edo State. We cannot remain silent in the face of political marginalization and injustice."

He also urged its members to support and work towards the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori respectively for continuity of their good works. Prince Edema also replied the Fiowei(Spokesman) of Gbaramatu Kingdom, High Chief Godspower Gbenekama over statements credited to him.

He said, "Finally l, three weeks ago, we extended a hand of brotherhood to our Urhobo and Ijaw neighbours. It is therefore disappointing that, about a week ago, Chief Godspower Gbenekama, regarded as an elder stateman from Gbaramatu, was seen making statements capable of heightening tensions within the Warri Federal Constituency. We believe that elders should serve as examples of wisdom, restraint,and peace building for younger generation."

Prince Edema urged l the newly inaugurated Warri North LGA Coordinators&Executives to use their offices as a call to service, unity and sacrifice for the advancement of the Itsekiri Nation and progress of Nigeria as a whole.

The leader of Ejele team, Madam Annette Uwale Asagba thanked the leadership of the IGC and its members for endorsing her principal as their candidate for the Itsekiri nation.

The IGC Warri North Local Government Area Chairman,Gbesimi Christopher Okorodu also thanked the IGC National Coordinator, Prince Edema and members of its executive for the support given him and members of his Exco so far. Members of the newly Warri North LGA Coordinators&Executives include, Weyinmi Jolomi Ebiareneyin, Secretary, Oshouf Okorodudu, Mobilization, Osandatuwa Priscillia,Publicity Secretary and Cole Eyebira,Ward 5 Coordinator respectively.

High point of the event was the administering of oath of office on the newly inaugurated officers which was done by Comrade Benson Eburajolor
