A socio-political advocacy group, Concerned Sons and Daughters of Isoko Kingdom for Good Governance, has accused Isoko coordinators of Tantita security Limited of alleged imbalance and unfair treatment in the implementation of surveillance job opportunities allocated to the Isoko axis.
In a letter addressed to the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Limited, Warri, Delta State, the group’s Coordinator, Gen. Omogha Wilson Ajiri, called for urgent intervention by the management of the company to address grievances relating to the administration of surveillance contracts and employment opportunities within Isoko communities.
Ajiri, an indigene of Ofagbe Community in Isoko North Local Government Area and a descendant of the Ibolomi family, acknowledged the significant contributions of Tantita Security Services Limited towards youth empowerment, employment creation, and the fight against oil theft in the Niger Delta region, insisting that the management should not allow Isoko coordinators to drag the company good records to disrepute.
According to him, the security outfit, under the leadership of High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has played a critical role in strengthening Nigeria’s economy through the protection of oil facilities, curbing crude oil theft, and improving security across the Niger Delta.
The group commended Tompolo’s leadership style and commitment to ensuring that surveillance opportunities are spread across various ethnic nationalities in Delta State and beyond. It noted that the initiative has positively impacted thousands of youths by providing employment and economic opportunities.
However, the group alleged that coordinators overseeing the Isoko axis have failed to uphold the inclusive vision of the Tantita founder. It claimed that only a limited number of Isoko indigenes have been engaged in the surveillance programme, while in some instances, employment slots meant for individuals were allegedly merged and shared among two or three persons.
The organisation further stated that several attempts had been made to engage the coordinator in charge of the Isoko axis to discuss and resolve the concerns, but those efforts reportedly yielded no positive outcome.
Expressing confidence in the management of Tantita Security Services Limited, the group appealed for a thorough review of the situation to ensure fairness, transparency, and equitable distribution of opportunities to qualified Isoko youths.
As part of efforts to seek an amicable resolution, the group requested a courtesy visit with the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Limited. The proposed meeting is scheduled for June 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., subject to the convenience and approval of the company’s management.
The group expressed optimism that the intervention of the management would help address the issues raised and further strengthen the existing relationship between Tantita Security Services Limited and the people of Isoko Nation.
