The Lagos State Command has recorded a major breakthrough in the ongoing onslaught against all forms of terrorism in the country with crack detectives attached to the Tactucal Squad intercepting a truckload of military camouflage containing forty seven sacks of the uniforms and Eighty cartons of hards drugs.
Four suspects have been arrested in connection with the restricted consignment and are presently telling the police how they came about them. Parading the suspects and their consignments Tuesday, Commissioner of Police, CP Tijani Fatai said the suspects who tried to compromise his detectives later confessed that the consignment was billed for the Eastern part of the country.

“An unregistered MAN truck containing forty seven sacks of military camouflage uniforms and eighty cartons of drugs suspected to be illicit drugs was intercepted by my men while trying to leave Lagos. They attempted to compromise my men but they refused and got them arrested. Four of them are with us. We’re investigating to ascertain where they were coming from and the intended recipient in the Easter part of the country, because that is where they confessed to be heading to,” Fatai said.
The Commissioner of Police said the Command under his watch would not only continue to do everything humanly possible to ensure that Lagosians sleep with their two eyes closed but prove to the country that the state is the center of excellence.
