Tinubu’s Second Term Will Bring Serious Hardship to Nigeria” — Primate Ayodele.

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has described the 30-day fuel price discount proposed by President Bola Tinubu’s administration as a sign of confusion within the government.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, on Friday, the cleric said the government was on the verge of failure and argued that the proposed fuel discount would have little impact.

Ayodele claimed that Tinubu was facing a serious crisis and was exploring various measures to improve his chances of securing a second term in office.

“When we were telling Nigerians that Tinubu would not be able to handle security, people didn’t listen, but the government has been lying about not paying ransom,” he said.

The cleric further argued that the proposed petroleum discount would not address the challenges facing the country, alleging that the administration was taking desperate steps ahead of the next election.

“Tinubu’s government is on the verge of failure; the petroleum discount is nothing. I have said he will do anything to bail himself out for a second term; they will do anything, and something big is coming ahead of this election,” Ayodele said.

He also accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of being desperate to win the forthcoming election, claiming that the party and the government were confused about their next steps.

According to him, Tinubu could take unexpected measures ahead of the election, while warning the President to exercise caution regarding some of his campaign activities.

“APC is very desperate for this election; they want to win by all means, and there is confusion,” the prophet said.

“Tinubu will do what he shouldn’t do, and he must be careful; even the campaign council doesn’t understand what is coming up, and time will tell. There is serious confusion and shame in this government. They are trying to return fuel subsidy.”

Ayodele further alleged that the proposed discount amounted to an attempt to reintroduce fuel subsidies, which he described as evidence of confusion within the administration.

The cleric also warned that Tinubu’s possible re-election for a second term would lead to greater economic hardship for Nigerians, claiming that the country could face a crisis more severe than its current challenges.

“Tinubu’s second term will bring serious hardship to Nigeria, and there are signs already. This is not a prophecy said out of hatred but what God has shown me,” he said.

He added that Nigeria would suffer significantly if Tinubu secured another term, predicting that the difficulties currently confronting the country would pale in comparison with what he believed could follow.

“If Tinubu wins a second term, the country will suffer greatly, and what we see today will be nothing compared to what will happen if he returns for a second term,” Ayodele added.
