The National Chairman of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Senator Moses Cleopas Zuwoghe, has disclosed that the party has prepared its presidential campaign council structure but must consult Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso before making key appointments.
“We have prepared the structure of our presidential campaign council, but Peter Obi and Kwankwaso must be consulted before the key appointments are made,” he said.
Cleopas explained that the committee had outlined the positions required and submitted the structure for consideration by party leaders. He added that consultations would also involve the party’s national leader, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson.
He said the process was intended to ensure that appointees were committed to the party and capable of fulfilling their responsibilities, insisting that the delay did not indicate internal disagreement. Further developments in the consultations will clarify when the NDC plans to finalise and inaugurate its campaign council
