Nani Urges President -Generals Of Urhobo Kingdoms To Put Urhobo Interest First

The Forum of  President Generals of  the  24 Kingdoms in Urhobo land has paid a yuletide visit to one of the pillars of the growth and unity of Urhobo Nation ,Hon. Chief (Barr) John Obukohwo Nani, the Aghwemutuwevwi of Idjerhe Kingdom at his country home , Jesse.

Speaking during the visit,  Hon.  Nani, who is the Chairman of the Board of DESOPADEC  called on Urhobo leaders, youths and women to always think Urhobo first in anything they do.

He said  that Urhobo was  known for peace and hospitality as well as her uniqueness in culture and traditions, adding that an  average Urhobo man was  keen to defending the interest of Urhobo, anytime, anyday thereby contributing to the development of Urhobo Nation.

He stated that his doors would always be opened to his  people to access.

Earlier,  the Chairman of the forum of the President Generals of Urhobo Kingdoms who led the delegation, High Chief Monday Okobiah Arawore praised Chief John Nan's magnanimity and  his contributions to  Urhobo Kingdoms especially the Urhobo Progressive Union.

He said  that if Urhobo could have just 10 of John Nani's kind, the future of the kingdoms would have been brighter and described Nani's contributions to Urhobo Nation as rare  , unequalled and unparalleled

On his part, Chief Abovi Hope Erute, who  urged Chief Nani to continue his goodwill, commended his  philanthropic works and his love for the Urhobo Nation especially during festive season  where every Kingdom in Urhobo was always touched by his love and kindness.

Also speaking, Chief Vincent Atuma, who is the President General of Oghara Kingdom acknowledged Chief  Nani's philanthropic works , stressing that his achievements today was a testament of his hard work and sincerity.

 Chief Atuma stated  that irrespective of political divides,  the PG Forum visit to Nani  was due to John Nani hospitality.

The highlights of the visit was a vote of confidence unanimously passed on Hon. John Nani as well as a group photograph in the spirit of the yuletide
