CRACK Police detectives attached to the Aswani Divisional Headquarters, Lagos have arrested a staff of PZ-Cussion company; producers of home appliances including soaps and powders for allegedly swindling unsuspecting customers of their money running into millions of naira. The suspect (names withheld) was said to had been in the act of collecting money ranging from N1m to N965,000.00 from buyers of several items without supplying them to the buyers.
Police sources said the lid got blown open after he collected N965,000,00 from a 78 year old retired teacher, grandma Adeyeye Titilayo under the guise that he would supply her with a Hiar-Thermocool deep freezer. To convince the octogenarian of the genuiness of the deal, he was said to have taken a selfie with her including issuing her with a stamped official receipt. However, shortly after the stage-managed scenario, it was said that the suspect disappeared into thin air and even blocked the woman’s line from reaching him…
