The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested seven individuals for their involvement in illegal dealings in petroleum products.
The arrests were made by the Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad, which also sealed five suspected illegal oil storage sites and impounded several trucks loaded with petroleum products of dubious origin.
The NSCDC confirmed the operation in a statement posted Friday on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, reaffirming its ongoing commitment to clamp down on petroleum-related crimes.
