EFCC Hands Over 750 Luxury Homes Seized From Emefiele For Public Sale

The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, on Monday handed over a confiscated luxury housing estate comprising over 750 duplexes to the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ahmed Musa Dangiwa.

The estate, previously linked to former Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele, will now be sold to the public as the federal government moves to recover funds through asset disposal.

Minister Dangiwa confirmed that the homes will be offered to interested Nigerian buyers through a transparent and competitive process under the Renewed Hope housing scheme. He assured the public that the sale will be widely advertised and strictly monitored to ensure fairness and accountability.
