My Husband Said He Forgot He Was Married – Nigerian Actress.

Leading Nigerian actress, Mansura Isa has explained how her husband allegedly disappeared the morning after their wedding and cutting her off after leading him to a ₦4 billion contract.

Popular Kannywood actress, Mansura Isa, has opened up about the sudden end of her second marriage, which she said ended because of a ₦4 billion contract.

Speaking on a BBC Hausa programme “Mahangar Zamani”, alongside veteran actress Fati Mohammad, Mansura said she married out of love, but later discovered her husband had hidden intentions.
“I married for love. You know what they say, love is blind. But it turns out he had a different agenda, not real love,” she said.

Mansura explained that she met her second husband through an uncle while working on a contract in Lagos. She didn’t have anyone to represent her there, so she reached out to the man to help. She said she later found out that he wanted to take over the contract and used love to get close to her.

“He suddenly proposed marriage, and I accepted, thinking he was genuine. He even said I could continue with my film career. We got married at night, and the next morning he left for Lagos,” she recalled.

She added that at the wedding, he brought a document asking her to sign and allow him to manage the ₦4 billion contract since he was now her husband. After that, he started talking directly to the people involved in the deal and completely cut her off.

“I never saw him again after that. He stopped answering my calls, and eventually divorced me,” Mansura said.

She revealed that when some people later challenged him in Lagos, he claimed he had forgotten that he was married. He also refused to give her a divorce at first, but later agreed after being pressured.

Mansura’s second marriage became public in June 2024, after she remarried following her separation from actor Sani Danja, her first husband. They have four children together—Iman, Khalifa, Sultan, and Sudais—and were once seen as a role model couple in the film industry.

Videos from her second wedding had gone viral at the time, and it was reported that the bride price was one million naira.
