HRH King Dr. A. B. Big Tom Tom JP, the Amayanabo VIII of the Abalama Community in Rivers State, has called off a planned Thanksgiving reception in honour of Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The monarch, in a letter obtained by News Week Nigeria and circulating on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), requested that the event be either cancelled or relocated to another venue.
The cancellation has sparked attention and raised questions about the reasons behind the sudden change of plans.
