Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Tiwa Savage, has revealed that she has never cheated in a relationship nor left a partner because of infidelity. The Afrobeats superstar made this known during a recent candid interview on the “Spill With Phyna” show.
When asked directly if she had ever cheated, Tiwa responded, “No, never. And I have never left someone for cheating.”
She explained that in her past relationships, infidelity was never the reason things ended. “I didn’t even leave him; he left me,” she said, adding that she has only walked away from relationships over issues such as stealing, drug abuse, or similar concerns.
When asked if anyone had ever stolen from her, Tiwa replied, “Well, indirectly, yes.”
Speaking further, the “Somebody’s Son” crooner stated that cheating has never been a deal breaker for her. “Even when they cheat, they’ll come back and apologize. That’s not a deal breaker for me,” she noted.
Tiwa also admitted that her calm personality often makes it easy for her partners to get away with such behavior. “They get away with it because of my personality. I can’t come online to rant, and when I see them, I can’t react,” she added.
