Family, friends, and residents are grieving the tragic death of 26-year-old Moses Peace, who lost her life in a suspected hit-and-run incident in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The accident reportedly happened on Ada George Road on March 19, 2026.
According to eyewitness accounts, the young woman was on her way back from a church programme when she was hit by drivers believed to be part of a convoy. Witnesses claimed that several vehicles in the convoy ran over her and failed to stop or offer help.
She was confirmed dead at the scene.
Initial reports suggest that the vehicle involved may have been a Toyota Tundra or a Toyota Highlander. Authorities, alongside supporters of the victim, are calling on the public to provide more details, including the vehicle’s colour, unique features, or licence plate number.
The incident has triggered widespread outrage, with many demanding a full investigation and justice for the victim.
