As part of activities marking the 54th birthday of the Chairman of TANTITA Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief(Dr.) Oweizide Government Ekpemupolo Alias Tompolo, the TANTITA Security Ambassadors And Volunteers through the Managing Director of TANTITA Security Services,High Chief(Engr) Kestin Pondi on Sunday visited Obruche Orphanage Home and the Catholic Old People's Home in Warri, Delta State where they put smiles on the faces of the orphans and the elderly ones in line with its Corporate Social Responsibilities to the host communities.
The group which is made of past student leaders and activists across the Niger Delta region also donated to the two homes separately,five(5) cartons of indomie noodles half bags of garri, twenty(20) litre of palm oil, one(1)bag of rice(50k),twenty five(25) litre of groundnut oil, tuber of yams, one(1)bag of salt, semovita, detergents and others.
Presenting the items to the orphanage home and the Old People's Home,President of the group,Comrade Efe Kwakpovwe said TANTITA Security Services, a firm owned by Tompolo is into the security of pipelines ensuring that the environment is being protected from oil theft.
According to Comrade Kwakpovwe, TANTITA Security Services since the award of its contract,"the reason Nigeria as a country is experiencing high rate of oil production that's being celebrated today as a result of the services that TANTITA is providing to Nigeria."
He noted that,"Part of the Social Responsibilities of TANTITA is to reach out to the less privileged, helping the orphans. By the special grace of God, yesterday coincidentally was the birthday of High Chief Oweizide Government Ekpemupolo Alias Tompolo. This is part of the celebration today."
He said the orphanage home should accept the gifts from TANTITA Security Services sponsored by Tompolo and the Managing Director, High Chief (Engr.) Kestin Pondi for their use.
In a brief response, the Matron of Obruche Orphanage, Bishop Oghenevwede Sibi thanked the Chairman of TANTITA Security Services Nigeria Limited,High Chief (Dr.) Oweizide Government Ekpemupolo Alias Tompolo and the Managing Director, High Chief (Engr.) Kestin Pondi for the kind gesture just as she prayed that God Almighty blesses them.
Promptly,the orphans led by Alexandra(a little girl) gathered and offered prayers for Tompolo and Kestin Pondi asking that God Almighty take the security outfit the head of other others in the town.
At the old people's home, owned by the Catholic church, the Matron of the home,Mrs. Cordylia Ehimare welcomed and received the gift items from the team.
She said,"It's great in our eyes because it will go a long way. We are very happy. Take our greetings to him(Tompolo) and Kestin Pondi. God will bless and strengthen them."
An old man in the home, Pa. Tom Oboh and Mama Bethel Uduaghan also prayed for long life, good health and protection for Tompolo and Kestin Pondi. They also prayed that God grant the team journey mercies to their various destinations.
