BENIN CITY — The University of Benin Alumni Association Worldwide, UBAA, has appointed Dr. Isaac Ejebe of the Warri Branch as Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the 2026 Biennial General Assembly, BGA.
The appointment was approved by the UBAA Council at its 105th Council meeting which held in Lagos and conveyed in a letter dated 16th June, 2026, signed by the Hon. Secretary General, Mr. Benjamin Obukowho Omere.
According to the letter, Dr. Ejebe will lead a 13-member committee tasked with planning, coordinating, and executing all activities for the successful hosting of the 2026 BGA.

The Secretary General is a statutory member of the committee.
The Biennial General Assembly is one of UBAA’s flagship events, bringing together alumni from branches worldwide to deliberate on the association’s growth, projects, and contributions to their alma mater.
