Afire broke out in the early hours at the headquarters of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), situated in the heart of Abuja’s Central Business District.
The blaze quickly caught administrative areas on the third floor, sending thick smoke billowing through sections of the multi-storey facility and prompting an immediate emergency response.
