‎Adeboye Reacts And Caution Those Who Organizes Night Vigil To Cast Out Demons, Says It Is Flesh.

‎In a recent video on YouTube from 00:15:26, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has emphasized that deliverance is not a product of physical effort or emotional strain, but a supernatural act that happens instantly when God speaks.

‎During a sermon at a recent church service, Adeboye dismissed the notion that spiritual deliverance requires prolonged or dramatic activity, insisting instead that God’s word alone is sufficient.

‎00:15:28 – “Deliverance does not come with a struggle. If God wants to set you free, all He has to do is speak,” Adeboye declared. “So when we are spending the whole night to cast out a demon, we are out of order.”

‎The respected cleric went on to challenge common practices in some ministries, where lengthy vigils or aggressive prayer sessions are held for deliverance.

‎“If you say you want to set a captive free and you must hold a special all-night meeting, that is flesh,” he said. “All that is required for the captive to be set free is for God to speak a word.”

‎Adeboye referenced the biblical story in Mark 5:3–15, where Jesus encountered a man possessed by a legion of demons.

‎“Jesus said only one word: ‘Go.’ That was it,” Adeboye said. “You can check it. Just one word—and the demons left. That’s the authority of the Word of God.”

‎00:16:53 – “I decree in the name that’s above every other name, I decree in the name of Jesus: it doesn’t matter how long you have been tormented by demons, you shall be free today,” he declared with conviction, to the applause of the congregation.

‎Adeboye concluded by reminding his audience that God’s creative acts—such as the first day of creation—were marked by goodness and simplicity, not complication
