The Omadhebor world wide descendants Union (OWDU) of Aradhe in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria Celebrates the Greatness of "HRM Omadhebo Eruthevayen, who passed away in 1943, with the Reunion and unification of the Omadhebors, it was a moment of pomp and pageantry.
The event which started on the 29th of August, lasted three days with family meetings, visitations to notable ancestral and traditional sites, in Emu unor and Ellu Communities.The celebrations was rounded up on 31st of August 2025 with a Gala Night at Ighelogbo, No: 1 Ekurie Street Aradhe Town. Guests were thrilled with a fun-filled
jamboree, laden with foods, drinks and entertainment and traditional razzmatazz.
It was a moment of excitement for the Grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandkids, some of whom are meeting themselves for the first time.
In a chat with one of the grandsons of HRM Omadhebo Eruthevayen, Mr Godspower Omadhebor,a popular veteran media and entertainment mogul, he noted that the Celebration has brought more love and Unity to the family, while describing their grandfather as a feared Warrior, and great community ruler with a benevolent heart, that accommodated people that came around him.
Representatives from Emu-Uno Community, in Ndokwa West, (Omadhebo maternal community) graced the event, they described HRM Omadhebo, as a Great Warrior and a wise Leader that fought for and helped to expand the Emu kingdom which moved the people to crown him as their Okparauku (Traditional Ruler) of the kingdom. They said his legacies still lives on in the community and their hearts.
High Chief Okoh Stephen, while interacting with Isoko Mirror, noted that HRM Omadhebo's Eruthevayen was a great Warrior that fought for his people from Oleh to Aradhe, Ellu and Emu-Uno. He noted that some of the children were also Warlords like their father they also fought to protect their territories.
Omadhebo, and his children were gifted with spiritual and physical powers.
After years of reigning as a great warrior he was honored as a prominent chief and
the white men recognized him and sought his views and opinions on settling disputes within Ellu Community and it's environs, spreading through Emu kingdom, Abbi community and Ashaka and Ushie axis.
Due to his experience in handling issues and communicating with the colonial masters he was called upon by Emu-Uno Community (His mother Ejinne Eruthevayen community) to be their Okparuku (Traditional Ruler) the position he held from 1929 to 1943 until his death.
During his reign, he handled so many cases on behalf of Emu kingdom and won a landmark land case between Emu-Uno and Abbi community in 1932.
He founded the Ezego festival which is being celebrated yearly till date.
He was Survived by 14 wives, numerous Children and Grandchildren.
HRM. Murphy Orugbesi (Ogwara 1) Ovie of Ellu Kingdom, who is also a grandchild of Oshimiri, (HRM Omadhebor Eruthevayen immediate younger brother and warring partner) graced the occasion as spiritual father of the day, in his speech, he said the family needs unity and cooperation to reclaim his prominence in the Ellu clan and Ndokwa nation. He promised to support laudable efforts geared toward facelifting the architecture of the compound.
Highlights of the event was the demonstration of war dances by Warriors and Masquerades (Umawun) various entertainments thrilled the audience.
