The Omadhebo world wide descendant Union (OWDU) of Aradhe in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria Celebrated the Greatness of "High Chief Omadhebo Erutheteyen and the lghelogbo Reunion 2025", the Celebration started on the 29th of August 2025 with family meetings, disputes settlement within and other families and visitation to other Communities for awareness, was rounded up on the 31st of August 2025 with a Gala Night at same venue Ighelogbo No: 1Ekure Street Aradhe Town.
The reunioun was a unique one as the entire members of the Omadhebo family came together airing their minds, while drinking and eating together with some of their Grandchildren meeting themselves for the first time.
In a chat with one of the sons of Chief Godspower Omadhebo, the young man had noted that the Celebration has brought more love and Unity to the family, while describing his father as a Warrior, and great Leader that accommodated people while alive.
Representatives from Emu-Bendo Community, Ndokwa also described High Chief Omadhebo as a Great Warrior and a Leader that expanded the Community and was later made the Okparuku (Traditional Ruler) of the Community and his legacies still lives on in their hearts.
High Chief Okoh Stephen, while interacting with Isoko Mirror, he noted that Omadhebo's father Eruthevayen was a great Warrior that fought for his people from Oleh to Aradhe even Emu-Bendo where he settled, got married and blessed with children and High Chief Omadhebo was the second child, the children were all War Lords like their father that fought to protect their territories. Omadhebo was gifted with spiritual and physical powers after some years he returned to Ellu and a prominent Chief recognized him through the white men representing Ellu Community and it's environs in settlement of disputes within and outside Ellu Community. Due to his experience in handling issues he was called upon by Emu-Bendo Community (His Maternal people) as their Okparuku (Traditional Ruler) position he held till his death. Before his death he handled so many cases and stood for on behalf of Emu Community and won one of the cases between Emu-Bendo and Abbi in 1932. He was the founder of the Ezego festival being celebrated yearly with his mother, messenger and Warrior which is still being celebrated till date. Survived by 14 wives, Children and Grandchildren.
HRH. Murphy Orugbesi (Ogwara 1) Ovie of Ellu Kingdom also member of the family maternally in his speech said the family need prayers and cooperation to move forward as he is not exempted, he promised changing the compound with the cooperation of other members of the family.
Highlights of the event was the demonstration of Warriors and Masquerade dancers (Imawun) entertaining the audience. Some of the dignitaries present at the occasion include: HRH.
