Catholic Church Mourns The Death Of A Catechist Who Perished Together With Wife & Two Children.

‎The Catholic Archdiocese of Nairobi is mourning following the passing on of Catechist James Njoroge Kabari who died alongside his wife Teresia Wanjiru and their children, Michael Kabari (6 years) and John Mark Kabui ( 1 year). They lost their precious lives on 5th January 2026 in a fatal road accident that happened at Karai, Naivasha.

‎The deceased Catechist was serving at Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Ridgways. The family hails from Ndundu Parish, Gatundu South. Their daughter who was also involved in the said fatal road accident survived and she is currently undergoing treatment at Nairobi Women Hospital, Naivasha. She’s been identified as Clare Wairimu.

‎According to information published on the official Facebook page of Archdiocese Of Nairobi, the church is urging everyone to remember the Clare Wairimu in prayers and also pray for the souls of Catechist James Njoroge Kabari, his wife and the two deceased children. Netizens have flooded on the official Facebook page of Archdiocese Of Nairobi and Nico Kyalo, sending message of condolences to the members of the families that have lost their loved ones, encouraging them to remain strong during this trying moments.
