Countdown to SPCCOSA elections

SPCCOSA 79 SET

CURRENT CHAIRMAN, SPCCOSA, WARRI BRANCH

For close to a year now, I have had to make one of the most difficult decisions of my life. That is whether or not I should avail myself to contest for the post of Global President of SPCCOSA in the 2026 elections.

It all began with the call of my classmates and others urging me to make myself available to serve SPCCOSA in the capacity of Global President.

Since then, more and more members of the association in Nigeria and abroad have followed suit in urging me to take up the gauntlet in that capacity.

I have, therefore had to ponder over the appeal prayerfully and after extensive consultations with a broad spectrum of our members, let me admit that their encouragement and substantial goodwill have propelled me to action. Hence the stage we are today.

It is therefore with great humility and abiding faith in Almighty God and the members of SPCCOSA worldwide as well as the sincere commitment to the ideals of our great association that I have finally decided to submit myself as candidate for the post of Global President, SPCCOSA .

My ultimate mission is to offer service through a leadership that is driven by the fear of God.

It is my firm belief that given my many years as a technocrat, I stand in a vantage position to provide the right leadership to catapult our association to greater heights.

In this way, I am determined that our cardinal principles shall be transparency and accountability as we commence a new era of renewed vision and progress.

There is a compelling need for a strong and purposeful leadership which will transform SPCCOSA to what we want.

The mantle of leadership I seek is to lead SPCCOSA by pursuing the cause of transparency and accountability.

If you give me your support and mandate, I will make SPCC AGHALOKPE to be among the best secondary schools in Nigeria.

I will engage Spccosa members world wide and move our Alma-mater to appreciable standards.

I will unify Spccosa members world-wide, encourage and support the growth of Spccosa branches and utilize the Clavarian Outlook, social media and the Website to keep
Spccosa members informed about the association's goals, accomplishments, and upcoming events.

My administration will connect accomplished and seasoned Claverians with younger Spccosa members, foster professional growth and knowledge-sharing across different branches.

I will ensure financial sustainability, work with the treasurer to manage funds and ensure the Association's resources are used transparently and effectively to support programs

I will implement strategies to attract new members, create initiatives that allow Old Students to give back to the College through fundraising, operate with full transparency in all activities and financial matters, coordinate with the College Principal to plan and organize a yearly AGM/Reunion celebrations that brings Olds Students, current students, and management together.

I will serve diligently as the chief executive and official representative of the Association and
maintain a strong relationship with the management of the College.

I will create welfare packages for members of the Association
and also visit aging and sick members regularly.

I will exclude Spccosa seniors (1965 sets) and below from payment of levies.

I will ensure massive publicity for the college, improve teachers’ welfare, rehabilitate hostels, complete the renovations of the roads, improve on sports facilities and buy a school bus.

I will increase the school population, clean up the College regularly and paint the entire school.

I will create a strong partnership with the College, hire and pay well-trained security staff.
I will meet regularly with the Catholic Diocese on the development of the College.

I will encourage all Spccosa members to support and honor invitations from Spccosa members.

The foregoing encapsulates my vision and mission statements even as my concept of power is that it belongs to God and that God uses men as instruments of change.

Whoever is so chosen by God should exercise power with absolute humility, considering that like anything on earth, it is transient.

I am not naive to the fact that leadership at any level carries with it great responsibilities.

As I seek your mandate for service in leadership, I do so convinced that I am capable of ensuring the protection of our collective interests and to work for the progress of the members and the institution.

With me as the captain of the ship, it will be a return to order, a return to new values, a return to new hopes and a hope for tomorrow for our great institution and association.

I will mobilize the greater majority of our members for the development of SPCC Aghalokpe.

I shall operate an all inclusive and open administration where everyone can contribute ideas for the general improvement of the association and the institution.

As I pledge to give the task everything I have for the love our great institution, my personal sense of worth places me under no illusion that I am the only person with the capacity to champion the rediscovery agenda.

History has offered us another opportunity to redefine and redesign our future in a direction that would strengthen the bond of unity, foster the spirit of oneness and enhance development.

I want to say that I have the vision and moral fortitude to lead our great association and will do so with a clear sense of purpose to revitalize our beloved school and restore the hopes and dreams of all our members.

I humbly present myself to you and urge you with humility and sincerity to give me your support to realize this aspiration.
