The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has projected a mix of hazy conditions and thunderstorms across various parts of the country
According to the bulletin released Monday in Abuja, light dust haze is expected in parts of Katsina and Kano States on Tuesday.
Thunderstorms are anticipated in sections of Taraba and Adamawa States by the afternoon and evening.
Across the North Central region, the forecast includes sunny skies with occasional cloud cover, while areas like Nasarawa may experience morning thunderstorms. By later in the day, storms are likely in Kogi, Kwara, Benue, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

In the southern states, the morning is expected to bring cloudy skies with sunny intervals, along with isolated thunderstorms in Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Rivers, and Bayelsa. Later, thunderstorm activity is forecasted in Osun, Ekiti, Ondo, Oyo, Edo, Abia, Imo, Bayelsa, Lagos, Delta, Rivers, Cross River, and Akwa Ibom.
For Wednesday, NiMet predicts sunshine mixed with clouds in the north, and afternoon or evening thunderstorms in Taraba and Adamawa. Central states including the FCT, Plateau, Benue, Kogi, Niger, and Nasarawa are also expected to see thunderstorm activity.
Morning thunderstorms are forecasted in parts of Bayelsa, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, and Rivers, with broader storm coverage later in the day affecting Ogun, Osun, Ekiti, Ondo, Oyo, Imo, Enugu, Ebonyi, Anambra, Abia, Lagos, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Rivers, and Delta States.
By Thursday, the northern part of the country will likely remain sunny with patches of clouds, while North Central states may see morning sunshine followed by thunderstorms in the FCT, Plateau, Kogi, Kwara, Niger, and Nasarawa later in the day.
