…how Tinubu directed Fubara to constitute cabinet, forward his 2026 Budget to State Assembly
…gives him final warning
…Wike had to placate visibly angry President TInubu
… asked Sim to fire destructive elements working with him
Details of the meeting between President Bola TInubu with FCT minister Nyesom Wike, Rivers Governor, Siminalayi Fubara and topmost politicians in Rivers State at the weekend has emerged.
Inside sources reveal that at the commencement of the peace meeting President TInubu reportedly did not mince words as he told Fubara enough is enough.
He reminded him of how he disobeyed all the peace agreements reached after Emergency Rule was lifted.
The president pointedly told him “I ‘ve never seen a serial betrayer like this in my entire political career against a benefactor.
“Do whatever you like even if you have to leave our party and contest elsewhere I no longer care.
The source further revealed that at this point Wike started pleading on behalf of flabbergasted Fubara but the president asked him whether his name was Fubara.
Fubara was equally asked to constitute his cabinet and forward his 2026 Budget proposals to the State Assembly immediately.
At this point, Wike reportedly declared that it was Fubara’s government he should go ahead and pick his commissioners without his inputs.
Finally, the president directed the State Governor to fire all the destructive elements currently working with him to bring about peace to the oil rich state.
Recall that the governor had severally snubbed all peace agreements previously brokered by the president and other critical stakeholders.
