The All Progressives Congress,APC, Ethiope-West Local Government Area of Delta State turned into war when the Member representing Ethiope Federal Constituency RT.Hon Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu,daughter of former Governor of Delta State escaped death in Ovade,venue of the Congress.
Several persons were said have been injured as gunmen attacked them during the APC Congress.
It was learnt that violence erupted when RT.Hon Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu arrived at the new venue in Ovade when gun allegedly sponsored by top politicians in the area.
The federal lawmaker and her supporters were allegedly attacked with guns and other dangerous weapons just as they denied her access into the venue of the Congress with several attempts on her life.
The attacks were foiled by her security details. It was also learnt she would have shot of had stepped her foots into the venue of the APC Congress.
Meanwhile,Hon. Mrs. Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu have appealed for calm among APC supporters and old members over the unprovoked attack
