The Honourable Commissioner for Works, Urban Roads and Highways, Comrade. Reuben Izeze has charged Corp members to be diligent in all they do, and seek relevant knowledge for self improvement as they go into the large society.
Hon. Izeze gave this charge during a sendforth organized for the out-going Corp members who served in the Ministry. In his remark, the Commissioner who was ably represented by the Functioning Permanent Secretary, Dr. Engr. (Mrs) Juliet Aboloje enjoined the out-going Corp members to keep updating themselves by learning new things to enhance their knowledge, as there were no limit to learning.

Speaking further, he advised them to be focused and not allow themselves to be distracted, saying they must avoid all form of distraction for them to get ahead in life.
"As you go into the larger society, always do your best at all time, build good relationship where ever you find yourselves, and never be rude to anyone, especially those older than you" he said.
Moreso, the out-going Corp members were also advised by the Direct Finance and Accounts Mrs. Christiana Brume- Ezewu, the Director of Administration, Mr. Onajomo Ideh, the Deputy Director, Engr. (Mrs) Atiene-Kowe and other staff of the ministry not to allow societal pressure to make them deviate from the positive upbringing they have, stressing that all that glitters are not gold, even as they were urged to acquire knowledge and new skills to enable them stand out in the labour market.
Speaking on behalf of the Corp members, Aniekwe Rita thanked the Hon. Commissioner, the management and staff of the Ministry for the love and support showed to them, and promised to abide with the knowledge as well as the beautiful experience they've acquired in the course of their one year service in the Ministry.
