A socio‐political group in Delta State, Hope Oborevwori and Friends Support Group, has donated part of its unwavering commitment to the M.O.R.E Agenda of the Executive Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, foodstuffs, groceries, toiletries and suchlike to orphanages and old people's homes as part of its contribution to the welfare of the weak and vulnerable in the society.
In a statement signed and issued to newsmen recently, the Director-General of the group, Hope Oborevwori; and the Coordinator, Hon Paul Oruma, affirmed that the group decided to give succour to the poor and needy, especially at this crucial period of the year when the concept of goodwill to all is the theme of the season.
Oruma added that the Director-General had left no stone unturned to procure the items for onward transmission to the beneficiaries, for which reason he commended him greatly for his vision and sensitivity to the plights of the underprivileged in society.
In response, the beneficiaries expressed their delight and gratitude to the donors and prayed that God Almighty Himself would replicate their kind gesture.
