Yoruba actress Habibat Jinad has opened up about her religious journey, revealing why she initially left Islam. She shared that she once attended church despite being a Muslim and eventually experienced a dream that changed her perspective.

In an interview onWasilacoded TV’sofficial YouTube channel, Jinad explained that, although she was raised as a Muslim, she used to go to church until she received a message from her late grandmother in a dream.

She admitted that she initially found Islamic prayers too demanding, which led her to explore Christianity.

At first, I left Islam because I thought praying five times a day was too much stress for me, so I chose to practice Christianity instead. Before my grandmother passed away, she told my family to give me a rosary.”

Jinad further explained that she continued attending church even after identifying as a Muslim. However, everything changed when she had a dream in which her grandmother appeared and handed her a rosary.

According to her, this dream marked a turning point in her life. She began using the rosary, and since then, she believes her life has improved significantly, helping her overcome various challenges.
