A 22-year-old man has reportedly been apprehended in Delta State over an alleged attempt to sexually assault an eight-year-old girl.
The suspect, whose identity was not immediately disclosed, was reportedly arrested after allegedly returning to make a second attempt after his first attempt failed.
In a statement attributed to the suspect following his apprehension, he reportedly said, “I didn’t succeed the first time. When I returned to try again for the second time, that was when they apprehended me.” watch video
