Barr. Omosede Igbinedion has been declared winner of Saturday’s by-election for the Ovia Federal Constituency seat.
The result were announced in the early hours of Sunday.
Retuning officer, Clement Ighodaro, said Barrister Igbinedion scored a total of 77,053 votes while the PDP candidate, Johnny Aikpitanyi got 3,838 votes.
Candidate of the ADC, Dr. Sandra Asemota scored 925 votes.
Barr. Igbinedion was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2011.
