The Lagos chapter of the Isoko Development Union (IDU) led by Mr Charles Adede has held its annual thanksgiving service on the 21 June 2026, at the Good Shepherd Anglican church located at Marine beach, apapa to thank and appreciate God Almighty for the period under review.

The Thanksgiving service is a yearly programme organized by the branch to give thanks and Glory to God Almighty for the wonderful things experienced in the previous years and to pray for "Future guidance" in the year ahead for their executives and entire Isoko Nation.

The president of the Lagos branch, Mr Charles Adede who spoke to Isoko Mirror , he expressed satisfaction over the success of the programme and commended members for their massive turnout and understanding, noting that, the programme is a tradition he met on ground, stressing that, so long it is a good policy put in place by past leaders, it can not be discarded, it is very good to thank and appreciate God Almighty all the time.

"Let me say that, inspite of some hiccups, I am very happy with the success of the programme today, collectively, we have been able to thank, appreciate and dance to the Glory of God Almighty for his protection and mercies upon us" he noted.
Those present includes: Chief Paul Odhomor, Chief Okpeki, Mr Reuben Uwezie, Mr Thomas Efedhoma, Dr. Alex Egbagbara, Okworide Simeon and host of others.
