‎‎Love Found Me In The Most Unexpected Way” — Seyi Tinubu’s Wife Finally Reveals How She Met Her Husband

‎Layal Jade Tinubu, the wife of Seyi Tinubu — son of Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu — has opened up about how she first met her husband, sharing a glimpse into their love story.

‎Speaking in a recent video released to celebrate Seyi’s 40th birthday, Layal revealed that their journey began on Facebook.

‎According to her, what caught her attention was not a pickup line but Seyi’s personality and composure.

‎“We met on Facebook,” she recalled. “I wouldn’t really say there was a pickup line. It was more about how he carried himself. He was confident yet easy-going, and he had this effortless charm — like he didn’t even have to try.”

‎Layal, a Nigerian-Lebanese lawyer and entrepreneur, tied the knot with Seyi in 2016, and their marriage has been blessed with children.

‎The couple recently marked their ninth wedding anniversary in August, a milestone Seyi celebrated with a heartfelt message on Instagram.

‎He wrote:
‎“9 years married, 20 years together, and our beautiful kids — I remain in awe of your strength, compassion, and grace every day. @layaltinubu, thank you for loving me through it all. Here’s to the life we’ve built and the future ahead, where we grow stronger and protect what we cherish — our love and our family. I love you.”
