Asaba – Chief Barr. Fred Okiemute Majemite has congratulated Chief Solomon Arayenka on his triumphant emergence as the State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), following the successful conduct of the party’s state congress.
In a goodwill message made available to journalists, Majemite described Arayenka’s victory as well deserved, noting that the outcome of the congress reflected the confidence reposed in his leadership capacity and long standing commitment to the growth and stability of the party.
He said the emergence of the new state chairman marks an important turning point for the APC, stressing that the party now has an opportunity to strengthen its internal structures, reconcile aggrieved members and reposition itself for greater electoral success.
Majemite further commended party delegates and stakeholders for conducting a peaceful and credible congress, which, according to him, has helped to reinforce internal democracy and unity within the APC at a critical time in its political journey.
The former commissioner urged Arayenka to carry all tendencies along in the discharge of his responsibilities, adding that inclusive leadership, fairness and open consultation would be vital in consolidating the party and sustaining the confidence of members across the state.
He expressed optimism that under Arayenka’s leadership, the APC would witness renewed vigour, cohesion and strategic direction, and wished the new chairman a successful tenure in steering the affairs of the party to greater heights.
