A woman who identified herself as a mortuary attendant has sparked widespread controversy after alleging that she once participated in the sale of what she described as “dead body water” to Nigerian celebrities, affluent individuals and food vendors.
The woman made the disclosure during an interview that has since circulated widely on social media. In the interview, she claimed that the practice was carried out secretly and involved supplying water allegedly linked to corpses to clients who believed it could bring wealth, influence or commercial success.
According to her account, some of the buyers were politicians, prominent figures and business owners, including food vendors, who sought the substance for ritual or spiritual purposes.
The woman, however, expressed deep remorse over her involvement, stating that she now regrets her actions and felt compelled to speak out as a warning to others. She described the activity as morally wrong and said it continues to weigh heavily on her conscience.
