The Nollywood actress, Anita Joseph, has announced that her marriage to Fisayo ‘MC Fish’ Michael has come to an end.
The actress made the disclosure in an Instagram post, ending months of speculation surrounding the status of their relationship, which began in 2020.
In the post, Anita made her position clear, stating, “Calling a spade a spade, my marriage is over”.
Her confirmation comes amid persistent rumours that the marriage had broken down over allegations including infidelity, domestic violence, and substance abuse involving MC Fish.
There were also reports that Joseph experienced two pregnancy losses — a miscarriage and a stillbirth — during what was described as a difficult period in the marriage.
Although she had earlier reassured the public that she was “doing fine,” the actress had avoided addressing the details of her marital situation until now.
Reflecting on the experience, she wrote, “Life has a way of testing our strength in ways we never expect, especially in marriage”.
She described the phase as one marked by “deep reflection, pain, and healing,” adding that while the future remains uncertain, she is choosing “grace, growth, and faith—one step at a time”.
