Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has cried out on social media after allegedly being assaulted by uniformed men while preparing free meals for homeless people on the streets of Lagos.
Sharing her ordeal via Instagram, Sarah revealed that the incident occurred during one of her regular charity outreaches, where she cooks and distributes healthy meals to the less privileged.
According to her, the men — believed to be members of the Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) task force — stormed the area, harassed her team, and seized her cooking gas, food items, and other materials used for the outreach.
The actress also shared a video showing her injured hand, expressing deep pain and frustration over what she described as an unprovoked and unfair attack.
Sarah explained that her only mission was to show love and kindness through food, describing her charitable cooking as a personal way of giving back to society.
In her words:
“My heart aches. Today, while I was cooking free food for the homeless in Lagos, like I always do, some uniformed men came, harassed and bullied me. They took away the food, my cooking gas, and everything I was using. My only offence was serving love on a plate through my healthy meals. I am not a chef — I just cook to spread love.”
The actress called on relevant authorities to investigate the incident and ensure justice is served, emphasizing that her act of kindness should never have led to violence or intimidation
