A kidnapping survivor, Victor N. Izuchukwu, popularly known as Abuja Korea, has accused the Nigerian Police of freeing the gang that nearly killed him in 2023, including the alleged ringleader, who now reportedly boasts that “nothing go happen.”
In a video obtained by SaharaReporters, Victor narrates in graphic detail how he was attacked by his own workers inside his residence in Abuja and left for dead, only to later discover that the police released the suspects — including the elderly security guard he identifies as “Baba,” who allegedly led the attackers into his home.
Victor begins his account by describing a normal morning that turned into a near-fatal ambush.
He said: “I would like to share a story that happened to me. I was brutally attacked by my workers in my estate in Abuja. It all happened on November 27, 2023.”
According to him, earlier that day one of his workers approached him for assistance.
“One of my workers came to me and asked me for help… I had to give him 5,000 Naira. He was very happy and then he left.”
But hours later, Victor said he heard his dog barking unusually and went towards the fence:
“Lo and behold, I saw one of my workers loading his rifle with bullets. His name is Damina. Immediately, he sighted me. He shot directly to me… I had to run behind the house.”
He narrated how he hid inside the ceiling, calling security agencies as gunshots tore through his home.
“I made use of the manhole into the roof… those criminals were shooting inside trying to break the door.”
Victor said the attackers found their way to the roof using his water tank.
“He was holding an AK-47… He tried to use the machete to hit me. I hit his head.”
They both fell off the roof during the struggle. “The rest criminals started fighting me. They were using machete on me, hitting me.”
