The Alasia area of Ijanikin, opposite the federal government college was beehives of activities as visitors trooped in, including friends and well-wishers to rejoice with the medical director of Oscar trado-medical healing centre, High Chief Dr Oscar Omoefe Itimi, as the centre clocked 32 years of service to humanity.
The Onijanikin of Ijanikin, Oba Muhammad Afolabi Asafa JP, who was present at the occasion, had noted, while commending Dr Oscar that God Almighty has been using Dr Oscar through the centre to reach out to the people and the larger society and used the medium to pray for peace.
"I am always impressed, each time I had graced this occasion because of the wonderful things God Almighty is using Dr Oscar to do in our society. Let me say that, God Almighty created the herbs and revealed the secret behind the efficacy of these herbs to some people and Dr Oscar happened to be one of them and his service to humanity is unquantifiable ".
In his opening remark, the chairman of the occasion, Hon. Sodiq Abayomi, while thanking other guests for the honour accorded him, he urged everyone present to be peaceful and law abiding as we all joined the celebrant to appreciate and thank God for his mercies and Grace upon us all.
The medical director of the Oscar trado-medical healing centre, High Chief Dr Oscar Omoefe Itimi, while expressing satisfaction over the success of the ceremony, he noted that, God Almighty has used him to impact people positively through the centre, stressing that, the success of the entire process is through GOD mercies and guidance.
"Let me say that, I have impacted a lot of people positively through this gift of God Almighty. We have always tried our best to thank God every December for his mercies and Grace upon us in the last 32 years"
He used the medium to pray God Almighty to grant mercies journey to all guests present back safely to their various destinations.
some of the guests present include, the traditional ruler of Otor-Awori (the Olotor of Otor, the Olu Imashayi, High Chief Emma Tobi, Chief Robinson Eregare and cross section of Ijanikin and environs.
