----Called for proper profiling of the Northerners in Ozoro Community

Residents of Ozoro in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State have raised concerns over the alleged theft of electrical cables meant to support the provision of electricity to the town.
According to residents, some individuals suspected to be northerners living in the community have allegedly been involved in the removal and theft of the cables. The development has reportedly generated tension among residents, who fear that the alleged theft could further delay efforts to improve electricity supply in the area.
The Traditional Ruler of the community,HRM Anthony Uvietobore Ogbogbo Ibuka 1 and chief Barkley Asiafa the President-General of the Ozoro Progress Union including the people of ozoro have reportedly expressed their displeasure over the situation and called for the departure or proper profiling for easy identification of Northerners in the town.
However, no official date or valid document confirming an order for the Northerners to leave Ozoro has been released as of the time of filing this report.
Residents have therefore been urged to remain calm and allow the relevant authorities to investigate the allegations and take appropriate action.
However proper restrictions have been made towards the movement of the Northerners in the community for security purposes.
The alleged development has also raised concerns about the protection of public infrastructure and the need for stronger security measures to prevent the vandalism or theft of electrical installations intended to benefit the community.
Authorities are expected to clarify the situation and provide further information on the alleged cable theft and any decision concerning the continued stay of the affected residents in Ozoro.
