A pastor broke down in church yesterday, Feb. 22, as he announced to his congregation that his unmarried teenage daughter is pregnant.
A church member who witnessed the scene narrated this on X.
She wrote: "Today in Church, during the announcement, the pastor started crying.
"After about five minutes, he broke the news. His 19 years old daughter is pregnant—out of wedlock.
"He said the temptation to abort the baby to avoid public shame was becoming overwhelming, so he's announcing it to shame the devil that they won't do that.
"And then he started crying again. Other ministers needed to lead him out.
"I thought there'll be backbiting and side talk but he was led out with a standing ovation.
"I felt so happy that the Church is regaining the love that was once in our midst again."
