Residents of Old Abirem in Ghana were thrown into shock and anger after human skeletal remains were reportedly discovered inside the residence of Pastor Emmanuel Kofi, leader of the Jesus Power ministry. The revelation prompted furious locals to set fire to the pastor’s church building in protest.
According to eyewitnesses, community members noticed suspicious activity and a foul odor coming from the pastor’s home. Upon investigation, they found human bones stored in one of the rooms. The gruesome discovery sparked outrage, with residents demanding answers and justice.
In a wave of spontaneous anger, some residents retaliated by torching the church building associated with the pastor. While the full extent of the damage remains under assessment, witnesses confirmed that the blaze caused significant destruction to the structure.

The skeletal remains of an unidentified person has been shockingly discovered at the residence of Emmanuel Kofi, leader of the Jesus Power Church at Old Abirem in the Birim North District of the Eastern Region.
The identification of the body was made difficult as the body was said to be already in an advanced state of decomposition.
According to the Assembly Member for the Old Abirem Electoral Area, Fred Gyampo, a young man, identified as Kwaku reported the strange happening after a spiritual revelation.
Mr. Gyampo said with the assistance of the police, the skeletal remains were subsequently retrieved.
The young man recounting his experience, claimed that it was through a spiritual encounter that he was directed to the location of the body.
After retrieving the remains, some angry residents went ahead to set the church of Emmanuel Kofi ablaze.
Investigations have since commenced to determine the identity of the deceased and the cause of death.
